Custom Work with Jaime Fields
How do I get started?
Creating a custom piece of jewelry gives you a chance to play a role in the creative process. I encourage you to envision your dream piece and ensure it aligns with the style of my work. While I don't replicate other jewelry artists' creations, I can use images as references to understand the direction you'd like to take.
To honor the time, materials, and care that go into the design and creation process, custom projects begin at a minimum of $1500. To begin the process, including carving prototypes and design communication, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required. This amount will be credited toward the final cost of your design.
After a final design is agreed upon, I will send an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit. The rest will be due when the project is complete.

How long will it take?
Customs can take up to two months or more to complete. If you need it sooner, we can discuss the feasibility of expediting the process.

Can you use my heirloom stones in the project?
Absolutely—I'm happy to incorporate heirloom stones into your design whenever possible. However, each project is considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note that I cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during the removal or resetting process, as older stones can be delicate and settings unpredictable.
What else is included in the cost?
Additional fees include labor, metal cost, stone cost, stone setting, and shipping. Price quotes are good for one month due to constantly changing metal markets.

The fine print
I reserve the right to reproduce the design, including sales of the design or use of the design in marketing & brand promotion. A client’s purchase of the artwork does not transfer ownership of the artwork’s copyright.
Custom projects are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or store credit. Please review final design, measurements, etc. thoroughly.
