The fine printI reserve the right to reproduce the design, including sales of the design or use of the design in marketing & brand promotion. A client’s purchase of the artwork does not transfer ownership of the artwork’s copyright. Custom projects are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or store credit. Please review final design, measurements, etc. thoroughly.

How do I get started?Creating a custom piece of jewelry gives you a chance to play a role in the creative process. I encourage you to envision your dream piece and ensure it aligns with the style of my work. While I don't replicate other jewelry artists' creations, I can use images as references to understand the direction you'd like to take. To begin the process, including carving prototypes and design communication, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required. This amount will be credited toward the final cost of your design. After a final design is agreed upon, I will send an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit. The rest will be due when the project is complete.
-
Can you use my gold in the project?Yes! There is a chance your gold is not suitable for casting--we can discuss. For accepting gold from a customer, I offer a credit based on the market rate melt value on the day of the paid deposit. You will receive 75% of the scrap value towards the gold cost for your piece. I don’t send back remaining gold after melting it, but do offer a credit to my site if there is extra.
-
How long will it take?Customs can take up to two months or more to complete. If you need it sooner, we can discuss the feasibility of expediting the process.
-
What else is included in the cost?Additional fees include labor, metal cost, stone cost, stone setting, and shipping. Price quotes are good for one month due to constantly changing metal markets.

Jewelry CareSolid Gold: Gold has a distinctive luster in a class by itself. Congratulations, this is the jewelry care jackpot! Not much is needed, but gold can be wiped with a polishing cloth to shine it up every few years. Silver: Silver is where light meets dark with its bright crystalline surface and inky patina. Wearing silver won’t cause it to tarnish but sitting in a jewelry box will. When you aren’t wearing it, keep it in an airtight bag. Use a polishing cloth to get off any unwanted oxidation (however, oxidation looks pretty cool). Bronze: Bronze presents deep, rich & ancient colors. Keep it dry to keep it bright. When you aren’t wearing it, keep it in an airtight bag. Use a polishing cloth to get off any unwanted oxidation. Stone Care: Most gemstones and diamonds can be safely cleaned using warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. For pearls, opals, turquoise, and other porous stones, use a lightly dampened jewelry cloth to clean them gently. Polishing cloth recs: “Sabrina Silver” or “Sunshine Cloth” I love discussing jewelry! Send any other questions to me on my contact page.
