Capricorn Charm in 14k and Diamond

A time-worn and etheric 14k gold charm featuring five diamonds—one set on the face of the coin and four adorning the front and back of the bail.
Capricorn is represented in my collection by an ancient Roman denarius from the reign of Emperor Vespasian (69-79 A.D.). The coin features the Sea Goat and a shield, a symbol of resiliance and transformation. Half of the creature is a goat and the other is a fish. This mythological symbol connects to the story of Pan--while fleeing from a giant, Pan leapt into the Nile River and transformed into part fish to escape.
